THE THIRTEENTH RUNNING OF THE PECAN CLASSIC 10K RUN/5K RUN/WALK

NO DAY OF RACE REGISTRATION
RACE DAY BIB#/PACKET PICK UP: 7:15 a.m.-7:55 a.m.
START TIME: 8:00am
COST: ALL 10k & 5k participants: $40 until 10/1; $45 through 11/4
FEATURES:
• Participants receive cotton t-shirt if registered by 10/26/22 (T-shirt must be picked up before the race. Unclaimed t-shirts will be given to participants who signed up after t-shirt deadline)
• Unique awards will be given to 1st place overall male/female winners and 1st place masters male/female winners for 5k and 10k
• Awards to top three finishers in age group divisions for 5k and 10k
• USATF sanctioned
• Chip timed
COURSE: Pecan Classic courses start and finish in the same spot. The course is on map my run.
The 10K race route will travel a scenic course on dirt roads through the pecan orchards, giving runners the most unique and amazing Fall running experience under the trees.
The 5k Run/Walk will be out and back course with a turn around at the 1.55 mile mark.
No dogs on the course. The course is baby jogger friendly. There will be no water station on the course so you must carry your own water. We will have water bottles at the start/finish area.

Our Pledge

Tagg Cares
Tagg Cares is our t-shirt project that brings awareness to endangered species. Our first shirt was for the Vaquita. Other shirts were for the Mount Graham Red Squirrel, North American Jaguar and we have made a donation to the Charles Darwin Research Center in the Galapagos Island for their continued research of endangered species.
